Lynne Windsor
First Born
“I am constantly homesick for my family and the country of my birth. After painting nests in oil pastel in Scotland, on my return, I decided to paint a series in oils. Naturally, the title of this painting is extremely significant.”
Tarn Haybales
“Last summer we again painted in this region of the Tarn, behind Puylaurens, also known as Tuscan France. We love to paint this area because of it’s rolling hills which are covered in sunflowers and wheat fields.”
Cetti's Warbler
“The birds that I have been painting recently are a natural extension of my nest paintings. The Cetti’s Warbler is a relative newcomer to the southern British countryside, since they have begun migrating further north. This Cetti’s Warbler appeals to me because of it’s attitude and it’s eager posture.”
